　氣象廳は27日午前、「関東甲信地方、東海地方、九州南部が梅雨明けしたとみられる」と發表した。關東甲信地方は平年より22日早く、昨年より19日早いらしい。氣象廳の統計史上、關東甲信は最早のU2明けなのだとか。
